JESUS POETARIO_CROCIFISSO_DI_FINE_MILLENNIO

… “The meaning of the work is, in its modernity as well. The cross by Giorgio Milani is the answer from an intellectual person of our times, to a problem (the one of sin and death) and to one of the solutions the most suitable ever found (exactly, the sacrifice of the cross).” …

… “Apart from the artist’s will, this cross is a proof of unintentional drama, more difficult than it would appear. Created with the idea to celebrate that word which has been the teaching of God, virtually it’s above all the evocation of that universe of words with which man has, ever-trying to explain all things, from the absence of God to the nature of things, with an act of never ending pride. To this task, even if he is doomed to fail all the time, man will never cease, and Milani did well to celebrate the adaptable tool of the word.” …
